(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) is reaching for the gold medal on Saturday, Aug. 10, when they face Brazil in the finals.
Mallory Pugh Swanson, a forward on the USWNT, is from Colorado, where some of her family members still reside in Pueblo.
Swanson made her Olympic debut in Rio in 2016, which marked the first Olympic games the USWNT had never won a medal.
This year, it’s game-on for Swanson to claim her first Olympic gold medal, and her family will be cheering her on every step of the way.
