(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian at North Powers Boulevard near Palmer Park Boulevard resulted in major injuries on Friday night, Sept. 20.

According to CSPD, officers responded to the scene at around 9 p.m. on Friday, where they found that the pedestrian had suffered major injuries from the crash. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash, though the investigation is ongoing.
