Visit Pueblo summer campaign: “Explore Your Own Backyard”

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — Visit Pueblo is partnering with Pepsi and Three Corners Connector to kick off their annual Summer Bucket List campaign to encourage the Pueblo community to get out and enjoy Pueblo, with the slogan “Explore Your Own Backyard.”

The purpose of the campaign is to encourage locals to enjoy annual events, outdoor recreation, museums, arts, farmers markets, local culture, and more. The Summer Bucket List campaign starts Thursday, June 20, and will run until Saturday, September 23, the day after the 30th Annual Chile & Frijole Festival ends.

Locals will be encouraged to snap photos while enjoying all that Pueblo has to offer and publicly post them to social media using the hashtags #visitpueblo and #summerbucketlist. Weekly winners will be chosen at random and will take home prizes from local attractions and events taking place in Pueblo, including a 12-pack of Pepsi products and other merch. All entries will be entered into a drawing for the Grand Prize on September 25.

The Visit Pueblo Staff will pick their top ten favorite photos, which will then be posted on the Visit Pueblo Facebook page, giving social media followers the chance to “vote” for their favorite photo with the like button. The “Fan Favorite” with the most likes will win a prize and be deemed the Summer Bucket List Photo of 2024.

Community partners and influencers are encouraged to join in the celebration of Summer Bucket List by sharing the campaign and encouraging staff, co-workers, and family to participate.

Those interested can support the campaign by sharing Visit Pueblo’s social media posts, using the hashtags listed above, including summer events in the Summer Bucket List Challenge by sporting the 2024 Summer Bucket List badge, creating special deals/discounts, and partnering with other organizations.

Visit Pueblo wants locals to rediscover the Pueblo community and enjoy local attractions that aren’t just for tourists.
