(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A homicide cold case from the 1970s has been solved, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), which scheduled a press conference to announce updates on the case, on Wednesday, May 8 at 11 a.m.

CSPD said Chief Adrian Vasquez will speak at the press conference, along with a family member of the victim, Detective Tracey Thompson of CSPD’s Cold Case Unit, and 4th Judicial District Attorney Michael Allen.
