Watch local filmmakers at 8th annual short film festival

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — In early September 2024 Ivywild School will host the Independent Film Society of Colorado (IFSOC) with its 8th annual Short Circuit Film Festival.

IFSOC said the festival will have over 90 short films from Colorado independent filmmakers in 11 categories such as Horror/Sci-Fi, Experimental, Women in Film, and more.

The festival takes place over three days from Friday, Sept. 6 to Sunday, Sept. 8. In between film showcases there will be panel discussions and Q&A sessions.

On Saturday, Sept. 7 there will be a special panel on the future of independent film with filmmakers, Jamey Hastings, Jordan Roman, David Dibble, and Ron Chaney.

Festival passes and tickets to individual blocks can be purchased online.
