(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A section of Palmer Park Boulevard is closed near Patty Jewett Golf Course due to a water main break, according to Colorado Springs Utilities (Springs Utilities).
Springs Utilities posted about the break on Monday, June 17 and said Palmer Park Boulevard is closed in both directions from North Meade Avenue to Buena Ventura Street due to the water main break. The street is expected to remain closed for repairs until Wednesday, June 19.

The same stretch of road was closed earlier on Monday due to a crash, though it is unclear if the water main break and the crash are related.
Drivers whose usual route takes them through this section of Palmer Park should plan alternate routes for their commutes on Tuesday.
