(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Morning commuters who take South Academy Boulevard may have to plan a different route, as part of the intersection is closed due to a water main break.
According to Colorado Springs Utilities (Springs Utilities), crews are repairing the water main break, but S. Academy Boulevard is closed between Hancock Expy and Jet Wing Drive. Northbound traffic will also be down to one lane.
According to Springs Utilities, lanes are expected to reopen Thursday afternoon, April 10. Individuals are asked to plan routes accordingly.
