(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Law enforcement activity has closed westbound Platte Avenue from Peterson Boulevard to Powers Boulevard as of 1:45 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO).

EPSO reported that the road is closed for the foreseeable future. Drivers in the area should find an alternate route.
