(PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo.) — Westbound lanes of Santa Fe Drive are closed in southeast Pueblo while sheriff’s deputies investigate a shooting.

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) posted about the shooting on Tuesday, April 29, and said investigators were on the scene of a shooting that occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Santa Fe Drive just east of Northern Avenue.

PCSO said one person was injured and taken to the hospital, though the extent of their injuries is unknown. No arrests have been made, PCSO said.

Santa Fe Drive is closed westbound from Highway 227 to Northern Avenue while the investigation is ongoing. Drivers are asked to plan alternate routes and avoid the area.
