(FORT CARSON, Colo.) — Fort Carson said the 5th Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, a Reserve Artillery Battery, will be conducting a live fire training exercise beginning on Friday, Oct. 18.

The exercise is expected to run until Monday, Oct. 21 and Fort Carson said increased noise and dust can be expected throughout the day and into the evening south of main post.

“Fort Carson is dedicated to being good neighbors and will continue to inform the public about training events that may affect surrounding communities. We will continue to listen to our community and work through any noise issues that may arise. We strive to balance our training requirements with respecting our neighboring communities.
