(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Ramah Khammash, a senior at Air Academy High School, has already exceeded expectations in the classroom and on the court.
At 11-years-old she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and was told there is a chance she could never play basketball again.
Now at 18, she has helped lead the Air Academy Kadets to a perfect 17-0 season so far.
Beyond the court, Khammash is a finalist for the Boettcher scholarship where she hopes to take her talents to the Colorado School of Mines.
