COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Whataburger broke ground Wednesday on its first Colorado restaurant, which will be on Interquest Parkway in northern Colorado Springs.

The restaurant’s first hire took a break from training in Texas to be on hand for the ceremony.

Whataburger also plans to open another restaurant in the area of Powers and Dublin boulevards by the end of next year.
