(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) Officers responded to a call about a burglary around Lelaray and LaSalle, on Wednesday, May 22, but arresting the suspect was more trouble than usual.

When CSPD officers arrived at the scene, they attempted to take Leann Gamm into custody for First Degree Burglary, but as they did so, she allegedly bit and spit at one of the arresting officers.

Once she was secured, she was cleared for pre-existing injuries at the hospital and transported to the county jail.
