4th of July events around Southern Colorado

(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — As America approaches its 248th birthday, events are being planned across the state to help celebrate the patriotic occasion. From parades to fireworks shows, farmer’s markets, and sporting events, there is something for everyone this Independence Day.

Star Spangled Symphony and 4th of July Fireworks – A nearly 50-year tradition continues, as the Colorado Springs Philharmonic will perform an exhilarating array of patriotic favorites at the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts, which will be broadcast live over five local radio stations followed by multiple community fireworks displays at more than 10 locations across the Pikes Peak Region. Switchbacks FC Fireworks Spectacular Night – The Switchbacks FC will take on FC Tulsa on the 4th of July, followed by a fireworks spectacular at Weidner Field. Click here to find tickets.

Family Fourth at Rock Ledge Ranch – Head to the Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site with the whole family. There will be performances by the Pikes Peak Brass Band and the Seven Falls Indian Dancers.
