82nd Annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade rides into downtown on a new route

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Giddy up, southern Colorado! The 82nd Annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade gallops into downtown Saturday, July 5th, bringing with it a full morning of western family fun and a brand-new parade route.

Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo announces new parking system, tickets

FOX21 and Loving Living Local sat down with Chaos Corraler Kaleigh O’Donnell and the 2025 Girl of the West, Emma Considine, talking about what to know before you go!

The festivities kick off at 10 A.M. with the crowd-favorite Lil’ Cowpokes Stick Horse Races for kids ages 3-8, now at Colorado & Tejon. Entry is $15 in advance or $20 on race day, and each participant receives a ribbon and a chance to race for glory.

Then at 11 A.M., the parade hits the streets — this year starting at Colorado and Sahwatch, heading east to Tejon, and then south to Costilla. With this new route comes new energy and plenty of spectacle. Parade-goers can expect dazzling floats, equestrian groups, marching bands, the FOX21 News team, and Girl of the West Emma Considine, who proudly serves as this year’s Parade Grand Marshal — a historic first!

Parking garages downtown are recommended, and attendees are encouraged to take advantage of free bus rides or grab a PikeRide bike using promo code YEEHAW for a free 20-minute ride.
