CSFD recognized for safety with Fallen Firefighter award

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) was honored with an award from the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) for the department’s efforts to reduce line-of-duty deaths and injuries.

According to the NFFF, in recent years, CSFD’s initiatives in behavioral health support, physical fitness programs, and comprehensive operational safety training have set a benchmark for fire service agencies nationwide. In recognition, CSFD was awarded the Ronald J. Siarnicki Seal of Excellence Award.
