After second night of snow, crews working to clear roads

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the City of Colorado Springs, snow crews are working to clear roads on the morning of Friday, March 15, after a second night of continuous snow.

Crews are first focusing on primary roadways and expect to begin focusing on secondary roads starting around noon, depending on the weather. Work on residential roads will begin once primary and secondary roads are cleared.

Drivers should expect snow-packed conditions, especially on side roads. Trucks are out spreading material to facilitate snow melt. City officials ask that drivers use caution on the roads, especially around working snow plows, and to allow plenty of room to pass, staying a safe distance away from trucks, as crews have limited visibility.
