(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Governor Jared Polis and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) have announced that Boodlebox, a leading platform for collaborative AI in higher education, has selected Colorado Springs as the company’s headquarters.
According to the official statement by the Governor’s Office, BoodleBox picked Colorado for its low operational costs, access to emerging tech talent, and the state’s business-friendly environment. The AI firm is predicting that it will create 30 new jobs with an average annual salary of $104,775 in El Paso County, including sales account executives, data scientists, and senior leadership positions.
“We’re thrilled to establish our headquarters in Colorado Springs and celebrate this incredible partnership. The support and incentives from the Colorado Economic Development Commission as well as local leadership throughout the Pikes Peak region creates the perfect foundation for BoodleBox to scale our AI-powered educational platform. Colorado Springs embodies the innovation and growth that aligns with our mission to democratize AI tools for educators worldwide. We’re proud to call this community home,”
– France Hoang, Founder and CEO of BoodleBox.
BoodleBox offers students, education faculty, and institutions combined access to AI models like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, LLAMA, and more through a single interface. The platform boasts that it cuts AI operating costs and environmental impact. They will focus on tailoring service for college professors and students alike to push for the responsible use of GenAI for classroom prep, teaching, learning, and assessment.
The introduction of BoodleBox also brings up to $323,056 in Job Growth Incentive Tax Credits for the company over an eight-year period from the Colorado Economic Development Commission. Said incentives are dependent on BoodleBox, also referred to as Project Boggle, reaching new job creation and salary requirements, as reviewed by OEDIT.
The City of Colorado Springs Economic Development Department will support with services like workforce development, issue resolution, and industry connections, while the City’s Workforce Development Administrator will bring talent pipeline introductions and customized no-cost hiring support in order to streamline the company’s introduction into the community.
“We are thrilled to welcome another visionary business to El Paso County—one committed to fostering career growth through education, creativity, and innovation,” said Carrie Geitner, Chair of the El Paso County Board of Commissioners. “El Paso County is proud to support our business community with performance-based incentives like the Enterprise Zone Program, making our region one of the best places in Colorado to live, work, and do business.”
