(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Fire Department (PFD) and the Center for American Values are hosting the Annual 9/11 Rememberance Ceremony – Never Forget at the World Trade Center Memorial Site on the Pueblo Riverwalk on Thursday, Sept. 11.
Over 13,000 veterans call Pueblo County home, giving it the designation as the “Home of Heroes,” and the community will honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. with a community “Walk in Silence” and a “Memorial Stair Climb” by the Pueblo Community College Fire Science Club.
The ceremony takes place at the memorial site, which is located in the Center for American Values Plaza on the Pueblo Riverwalk at 101 South Main Street. Those who can’t attend in person can watch the ceremony live online by clicking the link above.
