(ALAMOSA, Colo.) — The Alamosa Police Department (APD) is looking for a suspect in connection to a shooting that occurred on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 1.
According to the City of Alamosa, 33-year-old Larry Chavez is being sought by APD as a suspect in a shooting that happened around 6 p.m. on Thursday in the 1700 block of State Street, north of the San Luis Valley Regional Airport.

Chavez could possibly be driving a black 2012 Lincoln MKZ, with Colorado license plate AXOB36.
According to the City, Chavez is considered armed and dangerous, so anyone who sees him is urged not to approach, and instead call 911.
