Boy shot in Pueblo dies, homicide investigation underway

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) announced on Tuesday, April 2 that a boy who was shot in Pueblo on Sunday, March 31 has died.

According to PPD, the boy was shot just before 2 a.m. at a home on the south side of Pueblo, in the area of Lancaster and Hollywood Drives. The boy was taken to the hospital by car before police arrived, where he died on Tuesday, PPD said.

PPD’s Investigations Division is now investigating the shooting death as a homicide. This is the 10th homicide in Pueblo in 2024.
