(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) are pairing up and showed individuals how public transportation can take them anywhere in Colorado.

On Thursday, Feb. 13, both MMT and CDOT hosted a “Love Your Bus Ride” open house that they said would hopefully make anyone fall in love with transportation.

Recently, CDOT expanded its statewide Bustang transit system between Colorado Springs and Denver. during the open house, CDOT brought two bus coaches from the transit system, one Bustang, and a Bustang Outrider, each of which provides comfortable seating, wi-fi, electric outlets, and a restroom.

Representatives with MMT and CDOT also shared information about Metro, Bustang, and Outrider routes, in addition to giving away a few prizes such as free ride passes.
