Congressman Jeff Crank on mass deportations

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — In an interview with FOX21 News Congressman Jeff Crank spoke about the recent mass deportations and how Republicans should respond to groups that are not supporting ICE.

During Congressman Crank’s interview with FOX21 News, he suggested Republicans would look into withholding federal funding from any local government or groups in Colorado if they did not support the ongoing mass deportations. Crank specifically mentioned the Denver Public School district where the Superintendent said ICE would not be allowed on campus.

“Whether there states around the country or cities in Colorado or school districts they ought to be doing whatever they can to help enforce federal immigration law. I’m not asking them to go out and make arrests but just work with, you know return the phone call of ICE when they call and ask you,” said Congressman Crank.

The interview occurred after a recent major ICE operation in the Denver Metro area. President Donald Trump’s border czar Tom Homan said he is closing in on the person responsible. Agencies said about 30 people were taken into custody during the raid.
