CDPHE text to connect individuals to tax support

(COLORADO) — The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Get Ahead Colorado will be sending a text message later this week to connect individuals to tax support and more information about tax credits.

Get Ahead Colorado will send messages the week of March 10 to connect Coloradans with free tax support and information about the Child Tax Credit, Colorado Family Affordability Tax Credit, and Earned Income Tax Credit.

The campaign will deliver two different messages, one for individuals who are likely eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit, including those who can earn up to $65,000.

The second group is parents and caregivers who can earn just as much and have dependent children under the age of 17, these individuals are likely eligible for the Child Tax Credit and Colorado Family Affordability Tax Credit.
