DENVER (KDVR) — After years of waiting, the Netflix series “Love is Blind” finally announced the next season would take place in Denver.
The dating show, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, has aired several seasons of “Love is Blind” since taking off in 2020. Each season takes place in a new city where single people try to find their match but need to form an emotional connection without seeing each other face-to-face.
After a blind proposal, the couples go through a series of in-person dates, starting on vacation, and then head back to their city to try out life with their new significant other.
In April 2023, the reality television series “Love is Blind” was casting singles in Denver. In April 2024, the crew was spotted filming around several Denver metro establishments for the participants’ in-person dates.
However, there was no word on when the show would air, with the most recent seasons taking place in Houston, Charlotte, North Carolina and Washington D.C. That is until the Season 8 “Love is Blind” reunion, when Minneapolis participants of the reality television show came back to share updates about their lives after the experience.
The dating show dropped another bomb on the audience on Sunday.
Through a clip of the Minnesota Vikings’ Josh Metellus and Denver Broncos’ Alex Singleton, they helped announce that the next season of “Love is Blind” would take place in Denver.
Soon, people will be able to watch Denver participants take on the dating scene inside the pods as well as around Denver establishments, which FOX31 confirmed included Hello Darling, 14er Brewing Company, Retrograde and many more.
While the series hasn’t pinned down an exact airing date, Netflix usually releases two seasons of the show per year, with one airing in the winter and the next season airing in the fall.
