(Kiowa, Colorado) – Saige Carnahan, a homeschooled-student who lives on her family’s ranch in Elbert County, produced a ten-minute documentary video on the history of the Carnahan Ranches as a 4-H project during the county’s sesquicentennial anniversary.
Saige, her two brothers and her parents recently attended a celebration of the thirteen state-designated Centennial Farms and Ranches in Elbert County as part of the county’s Sesquicentennial (150) Anniversary. At that dinner kicking off the Elbert County Fair, Saige, a sixth-generation family member on the ranch, shared her video with the attendees.
