Chicken Salad Chick: Children will eat for free until SNAP restored

(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — Chicken Salad Chick announced on Tuesday, Oct. 28, that all Colorado Springs locations, including Monument, will get a free kids’ meal until SNAP benefits are restored.

According to a post from Facebook pages for each location, the restaurants are not taking sides or trying to make the announcement political, but believe that no child should ever go hungry.

There are three Chicken Salad Chick locations in Southern Colorado:

Barnes location: 5660 Barnes Road, unit 108, Colorado Springs

Briargate location: 9391 Highland Ridge Heights, Suite 140, Colorado Springs

Monument location: 810 Sky Vista Point, Suite 100, Monument

Any child visiting one of the three southern Colorado locations will get a free Kid’s Meal. The locations are asking to please limit to one Kid’s Meal per child; the child must be present for dine-in meals. No purchase is needed, and no questions are asked.

“Let’s look out for our children, who are both our most valuable and most vulnerable. They are our future. We are a veteran, local owned business and just want to help where we can!” wrote Chicken Salad Chick’s three Colorado locations.

For those outside of Southern Colorado, check your local Chicken Salad Chick location’s Facebook page for if they are participating.
