City seeks input on parking in new survey

(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — The City of Colorado Springs is looking to hear from the community about parking Downtown and in Old Colorado City.

Members of the community, businesses, and residents are encouraged to fill out a survey to tell the City about their experiences with parking in these areas, along with the issues they encounter and how they would like to see it managed better.

Currently, the city is developing a Parking and Curb Management Plan to better manage parking in Old Colorado City and Downtown. Survey responses will be used by the city staff to help craft the city’s parking plan.

The survey includes an interactive map to identify any locations in these areas where the public faces parking or curbside challenges or sees any opportunities to improve.

The survey will close Wednesday, Aug. 28. The city plans to present a plan for adoption by the Colorado Springs City Council in early 2025.
