(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — To help spread joy this upcoming holiday season, the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office will be partnering with Toys for Tots for its 76th program.

Toys for Tots is a charitable program by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that provides comfort and hope to children in need across the country through the gift of a new toy or book.

“I invite you to join us in spreading the season’s joy by donating a new, unwrapped toy for a child in our community,” said Clerk and Recorder Steve Schleiker. “Together, we can make a difference and ensure every child experiences the wonder of Christmas. Let’s unite as a community and fill those boxes with love, hope, and holiday spirit!”

Donation boxes will be available at four El Paso County DMV locations: Citizens Service Center, Union Town Center, Powers, and Fort Carson, in addition to another box located in the Clerk’s Office Recording Department. Individuals can also donate online.

Donations will be accepted until Wednesday, Dec. 18.
