(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Seven Bridges Trail is temporarily shut down from the trailhead section of Gold Camp Road to the southeast corner of Jones Park. Additionally, North Cheyenne Canyon and Gold Camp Roads will remain closed indefinitely.
The closures come after a road collapse in North Cheyenne Cañon Park. The hazardous conditions are limiting access to Helen Hunt Falls.
However, you don’t have to travel far for a different waterfall experience. You can still check out Rainbow Falls in Manitou Springs.
The Rainbow Falls are free to visit. However, Adventures Out West partners with the City of Manitou Springs and El Paso County to offer parking and a shuttle for $20 per vehicle.
“When I’m working here, I find that it’s mind-numbing and very peaceful. You can hear the roar of the river, and the spray coming up, and get your feet wet in the creek. It’s just an awesome little experience here amongst the red rocks,” said Greg Wellens with Adventures Out West.
