Colorado Springs Airport brings back half-off holiday parking

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) has announced that it will offer 50% off parking in multiple lots during the busiest times of the holiday season.

The promotional periods for the deal will be from Nov. 26 through 30 and Dec. 22 through 27.

During this promotion, travelers can get half of the parking fees deducted from their bill for daily parking in the airport’s long-term and overflow lots. This will drop the standard rate from $8 to $4 per day.

According to an official with the airport, no coupon is required, but exiting through staffed or automated lanes in the long-term lot is necessary to receive the discount. The airport would also like to remind those parking that the overflow lot only accepts credit card payments, and the holiday promotion does not apply to the short-term or valet lots.

“As a token of our appreciation for our community, we’re excited to announce the return of our holiday parking promotion,” said Alex Kovacs, Director of Aviation. “We want to make holiday travel through COS easy and enjoyable, and we hope this discount encourages more people to choose COS for their travel plans. We wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and remind you that we’re here to serve you.”

COS also recommends travelers to plan their visit with extra time for parking and to follow signage for available lots during the busy holiday travel season.
