Court date set for suspect in alleged road rage incident

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to court documents, the first court date has been set for Durriel Humphrey, the suspect connected to the fatal incident that shut down I-25 near Garden of the Gods Road on Friday, April 11.

Court documents state that 44-year-old Humphrey posted bond, which was set at $10,000, on Saturday, April 12. He has an in-person Advisement Hearing at the El Paso County Court on Friday, April 18.

Humphrey was arrested on Friday on felony-level charges after one person died and several people were taken to the hospital following a crash that the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) officers determined was caused by a road rage incident.
