(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a crash on I-25 near the University of Colorado Colorado Springs has stopped traffic in both directions.

CSPD said on Monday, May 19, at around 4 p.m. that a crash had stopped traffic in both northbound and southbound directions.

CSPD is asking drivers to avoid the area if possible and use alternate routes.
