(COLORADO) — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is currently reporting that Highway 50 is closed in both directions due to a crash.
According to CDOT’s COTrip app, individuals should expect delays due to the crash. The road is shut down near Cotopaxi, between North Road and Sand Gulch. According to Fremont County Emergency Management, the road is closed a mile away from Cotopaxi.
Fremont County Emergency Management reported at around 1:49 p.m. the crash as ‘critical’ and said many response agencies are on scene and a helicopter has landed on the highway.
