(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Monday, July 29, the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to a request for resources for the Alexander Mountain Fire west of Loveland.

On Tuesday, July 30, around 4 a.m., four members of CSFD headed to assist with the fire in one of the Type 3 Wildland units.

According to CSFD, as of Tuesday morning, nine firefighters have deployed to fires across western states, including two fires in Colorado.
