DENVER (KDVR) — A wildfire burning in northern Colorado west of Loveland has spread to 992 acres with 0% containment Tuesday morning.
The fire, known as the Alexander Mountain Fire, began shortly before noon on Monday in the mountains west of Sylvan Dale Ranch.
As of Tuesday morning, several road closures and mandatory evacuations are in place. The following map shows the mandatory evacuations in place for CR18E from Pole Hill to Pinewood Reservoir and from Drake to Dam Store along Highway 34 including Storm Mountain and Palisade Mountain.
