(CALIFORNIA) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) reported that crews deployed to assist with the fires in California have arrived and received their assignments on Sunday morning, Jan. 12.

According to CSFD, crews have been assigned to Zuma Beach in Malibu for an initial attack on the fires.

CSFD crews will be working alongside other fire crews from Colorado as part of what is called a “strike team” made up of resources from Colorado.
