(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) announced that crews will be participating in a month-long training session in the area of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Goldenrod Drive between North Union and North Academy Boulevards, starting Tuesday, July 16.

The training will take place Mondays through Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will take place in multiple locations in the area. Crews will be using equipment in the area to perform tasks such as ladder deployments, searches, and hose exercises.

During the training, theatrical smoke may be visible in the area, and CSFD asks that people do not call 911 to report the smoke during the training sessions, as they are planned events.
