(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) reported that crews responded to a structure fire in the area of East Cache La Poudre Street and North Circle Drive that created a lot of smoke before firefighters quickly knocked the fire down on Saturday, June 21.

According to CSFD, crews responded to the fire at a home in the 2500 block of E. Cache La Poudre around 3:15 p.m.

In an update about 15 minutes later, CSFD announced that the fire had been knocked down and that crews would remain on the scene. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
