(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) arrested a 22-year-old woman after she stabbed her boyfriend in the leg.

On Thursday, April 3, at around 11:54 p.m., CSPD officers received a report of a stabbing that occurred in the area of 3500 Van Teylingen Drive, near Palmer Park. When officers responded to the scene, they located evidence that indicated someone had been stabbed.

The victim was contacted at a hospital, he had non-life-threating injuries as a result of being stabbed in the leg.

A suspect was located and identified as Tiajane Scott, 22, the victim’s girlfriend. Scott was attested and booked at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on related charges, including First Degree Assault.
