Four suspects tied to 39 criminal incidents arrested

(COLORADO) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has arrested four individuals, including a minor, in connection to several smash-and-grab burglaries that occurred in various areas in Colorado.

Detectives assigned to CSPD’s Metro Division, Strategic Investigations Unit, began investigating a pattern of smash-and-grab burglaries that mainly targeted marijuana dispensaries from Oct. 2024 through Feb. 2025. During the burglaries, the suspects used stolen cars to crash through the walls and make an entry. After, they would steal marijuana products and other items.

An investigation showed the burglaries were committed by an organized group of suspects, according to CSPD. The group also allegedly targeted ATMs and other businesses.

Detectives found that the individuals had committed a total of 39 criminal incidents, which included motor vehicle theft, burglaries, and robberies in Colorado Springs, Aurora, Adams County, and Arapahoe County.

One minor and three adults were arrested. The three adults were charged with:

Xavior Patti, 19: Special Offender, Unlawful Distrivution of a Controlled Subatance, Unlawful Distribution of Marijuana, Aggravated Robbery, Burglary, Motor Vehicle Theft, Money Laundering, Conspiracy, and more.

Devin Mulanix, 20: Unlawful Distribution of Marijuana, Burglary, Motor Vehicle Theft, Vehicular Eluding, Possession of Weapons by Previous Offenders, Theft, Criminal Mischief, and more.

Truziah Gray, 19: Aggravated Robbery, Burglary, Theft, Motor Vehicle Theft, and Criminal Mischief.

Overall, detectives recovered approximately 17 pounds of marijuana, 1.5 pounds of marijuana concentrate, 167 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, additional stolen items, and 6 firearms, including one that had been reported stolen.

Detectives determined the suspects stole $275,000 worth of marijuana and $125,000 worth of vehicles. The suspects also caused more than $50,000 in damage to business and personal property.

While four suspects have been arrested, CSPD said additional arrests are anticipated.
