CSPD investigate downtown bank robbery

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said on Monday morning, Oct. 20, an unknown suspect allegedly entered a bank and stole money in downtown.

According to CSPD, on Monday at around 10:45 a.m., officers were called to a reported robbery at a bank in the 400 block of South Cascade Avenue near West Cimarron Street. Police learned that a man entered the bank and allegedly demanded money from employees before leaving the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
