(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), on Friday, Nov. 29, officers responded to a report of a shooting at a home near Mesa Road and Fontmore Road, that resulted in a man’s death.

CSPD said that when officers arrived at the scene in the 2500 block of Royalty Court, north of Old Colorado City, they found a man who had been hit with at least one gunshot and had died.

The Homicide Unit responded and took over the investigation, which is still ongoing and all parties are accounted for at this time.
