CSPD: Man in mask robs Wendy’s in Old Colorado City

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), a Wendy’s in Old Colorado City was robbed by a man in a mask on Friday, Feb. 21.

CSPD reported that officers were dispatched to a Wendy’s restaurant in the 3000 block of West Colorado Avenue, near North 30th Street, responding to reports of a robbery. Dispatch had received reports that a white man wearing very distinctive clothing and a mask robbed the restaurant by handing over a note and putting his hand in his jacket pocket as if he was armed.

Officers found and arrested the suspect a few blocks away, according to CSPD, and he was positively identified by the victims.
