(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A man who died after he was allegedly hit by a vehicle while riding a scooter has been identified, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department
According to CSPD, the El Paso County Coroner’s office identified the victim as 46-year-old Graham Howell, who died on the scene of the crash earlier this month.

Police said on Aug. 5 just after midnight, officers were called to the crash in the 1800 block of South Circle Drive, near the intersection with Monterey Road. When emergency crews arrived, they found Howell, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and according to police, the driver of the vehicle failed to remain on scene.
Upon investigating, CSPD’s Major Crash Team determined that Howell was riding his scooter going south on South Circle Drive when a vehicle allegedly hit him from behind. According to police, the driver has not yet been located and the crash remains under investigation.
