(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is responding to a shots fired call in the 1400 block of West Pikes Peak Avenue, which is west of I-25 and downtown Colorado Springs, near the area of the Pikes Peak Church of Christ.

Caitlin Ford, Sr. Public Communications Specialist for CSPD confirmed to FOX21 News on Thursday morning, June 6 that officers were responding to the location for a report of shots fired just before 9:45 a.m. She said it did not appear that anyone was injured.

Ford added that one person was in custody but that CSPD was still very early into its investigation.
