(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said officers have arrested a man accused of uploading child sexual abuse material to social media apps.

According to CSPD, from April 2023 to November 2023, CSPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit received multiple reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about an unknown online persona uploading child sex abuse material to social media apps.

During the detectives’ investigation, they linked 19 cyber tips to a single offender. On Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, a search warrant was executed in the 3500 block of Corbett Lane, west of Palmer Park.
