(PUEBLO, Colo.) — Pueblo Zoo will be hosting Dollar Day on Saturday, July 20, for a limited amount of time.
T-Fiber has partnered with Pueblo Zoo to present Dollar Day at the Zoo. Visitors should be ready for an early morning, with the dollar admission deal lasting only in the early part of the day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., full price applies after that time.
“Conservation issues affect everyone, and we believe it is important that everyone have access to the zoo to connect with animals and learn more about conservation of animals and their natural habitat,” said Pueblo Zoo Executive Director Abbie Krause. “We are delighted to partner with T-Fiber to help us make the zoo experience available to all.”
Attendees should expect wait times at entry due to the popularity of the event. Overflow parking is available through City Park, at the tennis courts, and at the City Park pool. A Pueblo Zoo spokesperson said to allow 30 minutes for parking, as volume will be high.
The Rainforest will be closed that Saturday to reduce stress on the animals due to the large number of expected guests.
