Hallfords return to court on Thursday for arraignment

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Thursday, July 11, at 8:30 a.m., Jon and Carie Hallford, the owners of the Return to Nature Funeral Home in Penrose, where nearly 200 bodies were found improperly stored, are expected to return to court.

The Hallfords are facing over 200 charges related to the improperly stored bodies along with alleged money laundering, theft, and forgery.


Return to Nature Funeral Home owners offered plea deals

Recently FOX21 received an email shared by victims from the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office information that the Hallfords were offered plea deals in the case but are expected to enter not-guilty pleas at the Arraignment Hearing on Thursday.

FOX21 will be at the hearing and will update this article as we learn more.
