(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — El Paso County Treasurer and Public Trustee Chuck Broerman is telling property owners to check their mailbox for their 2024 property tax statements.
El Paso County said over 289,000 tax statements will be sent, including real property, personal property, mobile homes, and state-assessed. The statements are full-page statements including payment coupons, statements can be reviewed online and by clicking “Real Estate Property Tax Search and Online Payments,” under Online Services.
Property taxes can be paid online, by mail, or in person. Payments online will have fees for direct transfers, credit cards, and debit cards.
Payments can be mailed to El Paso County Treasurer, P.O. Box 2018, Colorado Springs, CO 80901-2018.
In-person payments can be made using the county’s 24-hour secure drop box located at the El Paso County Citizens Service’s Offices located at 1675 Garden of the Gods Road. Property owners have the option to pay their taxes in one full installment by April 30, or in two equal installments with the first half due by Feb. 28 and the second half due by June 16.
